After being restrained with shackles, rope or a straitjacket, the magician climbs into an aluminum box with Lycra panels. The panels stretch as the magician tries to free himself. Suddenly the box opens and the magician has vanished – but instantly reappears in the middle of the audience! He returns to the stage to accept his standing ovation.
Outside of the Box was designed by Ted Outerbridge in 1998 and it has been the finale in the Outerbridge stage performances since then. It has been audience-tested in just about all conditions. The panels can be customized to the color of your choice.
