FLOATING BARRICADE LIGHT

Outerbridge Magic has modernized the classic Zombie Ball by reimagining it as a Floating Barricade Light with an emphasis on craftsmanship. This is a fabulous urban street illusion – and it’s also great for school show traffic safety presentations! Marion Outerbridge has been performing this illusion worldwide since 2004 and in the process we have refined this prop into a contemporary, reliable and amazing piece of magic.

The performer picks up a cloth and covers the flashing orange light on a traffic barricade stand. The light then floats across the stage while flashing, it floats around the performer’s body, and it can accomplish most standard Zombie Ball moves. The flashing barricade light finally comes to rest on the barricade stand and it continues to flash. Now you can perform the classic Zombie Ball with a prop that your audiences can relate to!

The Floating Barricade Light has been road tested for over 10 years and there is a lot more to it than you might think! The barricade stand includes an industrial-quality reflective safety panel made of aluminum. The base is made from Baltic birch plywood covered in a solid yet flexible protective coating, so it is ready for the rigors of the road. The LED barricade light is an industrial flashing unit just like you see in construction zones – but it has been through a few modifications that allow it to float! A foot pedal combined with stainless steel marine hardware and ball bearing slides damped by air allow for a controlled vanish and appearance of the light.
